Minister

This guide covers the branch where Lilian becomes the "attendant maid" of the touring noble Balgo (called "the Minister"), and the party travels to the Royal Capital with his caravan. It splits off from the Merchant Route at Silverleaf Forest, and it ends in a bad ending.

We checked every step below against the game's own event data. The flag numbers in italics (for example, switch #261) are the internal game flags. You do not need them to play. We list them so you can verify the route, and so advanced readers can cross-check it.

Part 1 — Getting on the Route

First, you must be on the Merchant Route and reach Silverleaf Forest (see the Merchant Route guide, Parts 1–2). The split happens at Craig's Cabin on Night 2.

Step 1. Craig's "method"

At Craig's Cabin (Map 137), on Silverleaf Forest Night 2, talk to Craig (event 5). He explains his plan for getting south: Lilian will serve as the "attendant maid" to the noble Balgo, who is staying at the Dawn Inn. Craig insists on "coaching" Lilian in "noble etiquette" first, that night, alone with her.

Both dialogue choices lead to the same result. Lilian decides to go through with it, because the Sealed Scroll from Serras has to reach the capital.

Step 2. Lilian leaves

The next morning Lilian goes with Craig to meet Balgo. That night she slips away to Balgo's room on her own. Return to the cabin and read what she left on the table: a farewell letter and her faded red hair ribbon (Map 137, event 20).

This is the point of no return for the Minister Route.

The game marks it with switch #261 (Lilian as maid).

From here you follow Balgo's caravan toward the Royal Capital.

Scene 1-1 — "Shared Camp: Kaius"

The path: argue with Lilian over the boat tickets at the Dormitory (Map 264, event 4), then let the mysterious fortune teller at the Donghae Port Plaza (Map 251, event 12) "relight" Lilian's stigma mark. From the Lower Street house, guards drug Kaius and haul him into the Royal Prison as the King's "assassin"; Lilian is chained in the same block. Watch the full ending to unlock it.
