Nekama Route

A man who plays the game as a female avatar.

"Nekama" is the in-game handle of a man who plays the VR game as a female avatar. The wife does not learn that he is a man until real life catches up with the story. His route holds 11 Recollection Room scenes.

Like the other routes, it runs on its own hidden counter, variable #85 (Sub progress, Nekama), plus its own Intimacy counter (variable #134). Most of the route is a repeating fetch-quest loop: talk to Nekama, fetch an item together in a dungeon area, then come back and repeat. The scenes fire at a handful of specific points along that loop.

Starting the route

This route has an extra requirement that the other routes do not have: it does not start until 8 in-game days have passed (variable #59), on top of the usual main-story gate (step 50 or later). Once both conditions are true, talk to the NPC labeled "Nekama (game)" in [Game] Lobby (Map 87, event 35) and choose "Invite to hunt." Accepting sends you to [Game] Deto Underground Sewer to hunt together, and this starts the counter.

From there, keep talking to Nekama in the Lobby between scenes. Each time, she sends you to fetch something in a different dungeon area (Uttem Forest, then later Logos Mountains, Tarte Tatin, and Laraya Meadow). A couple of these check-ins need a minimum Intimacy value before they offer the next step (noted below). If the option is not there yet, keep hunting.

Scene 20: "Asked to do a milking"

  • Where: [Game] Tarte Tatin Abandoned Village 1 (Map 153), event 15.
  • What to do: Once you are support-subscribed to Nekama and the route counter reaches 8, collect the items marked in this area (action button on the event). Finishing the collection plays the scene automatically.

Scene 21: "Girl-on-girl at the inn"

  • Where: [Game] Inn (Map 164). Event 4 sends you upstairs automatically once the route counter reaches 24. Then event 5 (the room itself) plays the scene as soon as you walk in.

Scene 22: "Handjob at the net cafe"

  • Where it plays: cyber cafe (Map 189), event 3 (autorun).
  • What to do: Talk to the "otaku" NPC near the station in [Reality] Electric Town (Map 85, event 7) once the route counter is 12 or higher. He takes you along, and the cafe scene plays on its own.

Scene 23: "Sex in real life"

  • Where: [Reality] Electric Town (Map 85), event 9. Once the route counter reaches 33, walk into it and choose "Enter the apartment."
  • This plays out at Nekama's house (Map 184), event 2, automatically.

Scene 24: "Tells him she is pregnant"

  • Where: home (Map 90), event 52 (autorun), once the route has advanced far enough past Scene 23.

Scene 25: "Girl-on-girl under a status effect"

  • Where: [Game] Inn (Map 164), the same spot as Scene 21 (event 5), once event 6 has autorun-armed it at route counter 44. Walk into the room, and it plays.

Scene 26: "Flashing at the izakaya"

  • Where it plays: Izakaya (Map 104), event 3 (autorun).
  • What to do: Talk to the same "otaku" NPC in [Reality] Electric Town (event 7) again, further along the route. He takes you to the izakaya, and the scene plays.

Scene 27: "Sex at the hotel"

  • Where it plays: Love hotel (room 3) (Map 93), event 4 (autorun).
  • The same shared "downtown evening" event used by the Main and Chara-man routes ([Reality] Downtown, Map 84, event 13) arms this scene. Keep following the route, and it fires on its own.

Scene 28: "Affair trip"

  • Where it plays: Guest room (Map 182), event 3 (autorun).
  • Arriving at [Reality] Travel destination (Map 86) during the route's multi-day trip arms this scene, the same pattern as the other routes' trip scenes.

Scene 29: "Sex at home"

  • Where: home (Map 90), event 60 (autorun).
  • What to do: Nothing special. The route's automatic "morning" sequence (CommonEvent #902) arms this scene once you are near the end of the route.

Scene 30: "Ending"

  • This is the route's last scene, the tail end of the same automatic sequence as Scene 29. You do not need to do anything else. Keep advancing days on the route until it plays.
