Story and Endings
What moves the story on, when the game ends, and how to pick an ending.

The story of NTR Lesson moves in steps, and the game counts them as story progress. Four story cutscenes have their own gallery tiles. The game ends on a fixed date. Then you pick one heroine at level 5 for her ending.
Sakura's ending is part of the DLC. See the DLC guide.
The names in code style, for example flag
KaedeLevel, are internal game variables (flags). You do not need them to play. They are listed so the steps can be verified and so advanced readers can cross-check them.
Story progress
Story progress is a number in your save file. It is not a dialogue flag, so this guide writes it in words.
| Progress | What raises it to this number |
|---|---|
| 2 | Starting a new game |
| 3 | The cutscene "What were they doing...?" |
| 4 | The cutscene "Staying over." |
| 5 | The end of the cutscene "Meeting Rena." |
| 6 | The cutscene on 29 June |
The story tiles in the gallery do not check the scene itself. Each tile opens when one of your five save slots has reached a story progress number.
The calendar
A new game starts in May. The story ends on fixed dates, whatever your progress is:
- On 29 June, a cutscene plays and sets the story progress to 6.
- On 2 July, the final cutscene plays. If any heroine is at level 5, the before-end cutscene follows, and you choose an ending. If all five heroines (Yui, Kaede, Aoi, Taeko and Rena) are below level 5, a bad end plays instead.
So you have until 2 July to bring at least one heroine to level 5.
