Rena

Rena Shimozaka is a classmate of Kaede and Shin. You meet her in the story cutscene "Meeting Rena.". After that she visits your house on weekday afternoons. Her first scene starts with a chase minigame, after one of your scenes with Kaede.

Her scene with Kaede and Yui is in Group Scenes. Her story cutscene and her ending are in Story and Endings.

The names in code style, for example flag RenaLevel, are internal game variables (flags). You do not need them to play. They are listed so the steps can be verified and so advanced readers can cross-check them.

For the basic steps (the clock, stamina, levels and dialogue), see All Scenes.

Where Rena is

On weekday afternoons, Rena is in your living room below level 5. At level 5, a weighted roll puts her in your room 7 times in 10, and in the living room the other times. In the DLC, on a day when you cancel Yui's class at the store, Rena is not in the living room that afternoon.

The chase

Once the story progress is 5, three of Kaede's break-time scenes end with a new choice: "Kaede - Bathroom", "Kaede - Living room" and "Kaede - Hiroshi's room". At the end of one of them, choose Chase after Rena. to start the chase minigame. You need stamina of at least 15. The story cutscene "Meeting Rena." also ends with this chase.

If you win the chase, her first scene plays and she gets love points: 30, plus 2 for each combo, times a bonus from your items. If you lose, you go back to the world map.
