Memory Ladder: Levels 0 to 2

Most indoor scenes in The Curse of Kubel+ follow one fixed order. This guide calls that order the memory ladder. Each scene gives Magetano a new Enduring Memory. The next scene needs that memory. You cannot skip a step, and you cannot play the same step twice.

This guide covers the first 14 steps, Levels 0 to 2. Memory Ladder: Levels 3 to 5 has the other 13 steps.

The flag numbers in italics (for example, switch #221) are the internal game flags. You do not need them to play. They are listed so the route can be verified and so advanced readers can cross-check it.

These terms appear in the guide:

• An Enduring Memory is a skill that the game gives after a scene.
• Lascivious points are the number of Enduring Memory skills that Magetano knows.
• A solo trip is a trip to the Ancient Tome Cellar without Bazria. The game counts the solo trips that you finish.
• The sex count is the number of ordinary sex scenes that you played in the room. A step can need a minimum count.

How to start a scene

1. Go to the building with the Room for doing it in. It is in Kaldesta Downtown. You can enter it after the story reaches the chasm part of the game.
2. Talk to Bazria in the room.
3. Choose the first option. Its words change with your points: Sleep with Bazria (1 to 59 points), Nod in agreement (60 or more), Answer honestly (80 or more), Beg him for it (100 or more) and Flirt with Bazria (110 or more, with the memory "Fuck Buddy #16"). The other option cancels.
4. The game now looks at the ladder. It plays the one step that fits your trips, points, sex count and memories.
5. If no step fits, the game plays an ordinary sex scene. This adds one to the sex count.

Only one step fits at a time. Each step gives the memory that the next step needs. So the ladder always moves in the same order.

Entrance: Map 3, event 11, page 5, needs switch #143. Room: Map 65, event 6. The wording comes from var #211 of 110, 100, 80, 60 and 1. All choices end with a transfer to Map 147, event 1. That event reads var #20 (solo trips), var #211 (points) and var #225 (sex count), and the skills of Magetano. When no step fits, it adds one to var #225 and sends you to the ordinary room, Map 68.

How to raise the numbers

• Points. Every Enduring Memory adds one point. Each ladder scene gives one. The game also gives memories when the count of an act grows, for example indoor sex, outdoor sex, kisses, blowjobs, masturbation climaxes, and being seen by other people. Play other scenes to raise your points.
• Solo trips. Reach the Ancient Tome Cellar alone. Each arrival adds one. Trips with Bazria do not count.
• Sex count. Talk to Bazria in the room. When no step fits, you get an ordinary scene and the count goes up by one.

Open the scenes with a lever

After you clear any ending, the main Recollection Room has a lever that asks "Unlock all indoors sex scenes?" Choose Yes. It opens the entries of the whole ladder, from Level 0 to Level 5, in one step. You can then replay them without the trips, the points and the sex count.
